DENVER (CBS4) – A pedestrian is dead after being hit by a car Saturday night.

The incident happened near South Broadway and Cedar after 1 a.m. Police say a tan or beige sedan was speeding southbound and hit a woman in her early 30s. The driver did not stop.

The woman was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Investigators are looking at security cameras from nearby businesses to see if there is any video of the accident.
