DENVER (CBS4)- The new exhibit at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science has been 2,000 years in the making. Now, everyone will get the chance to experience “A Day in Pompeii.”
What nature destroyed, it also preserved. Hundreds of exceptional artifacts offer an insider’s glimpse into the daily life — and tragic end — of this ancient Roman city that was destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in AD 79.
CBS4 Critic at Large Greg Moody explored the exhibit and said he’s never seen anything like it. Watch his full review below.
“A Day in Pompeii” runs through January 13, 2013 at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science.
Tickets will be stamped to control crowds. Prices vary depending on the day and time.
