ARVADA, Colo. (CBS4) – Parents with children in schools in Arvada may notice more security there Friday after a man was seen trying to lure kids into his car.
Police say twice this week a man approached children near Warder Elementary School and Fitzmorris Elementary School.
The incidents happened last Sunday and this past Wednesday.
In each case the man offered the kids candy and asked them to get into his car.
Neighbors are vowing to keep their eyes out for anyone looking suspicious.
Police say they are looking for a white man with brown hair. The kids gave a description that he is anywhere between 20 to 40.
He may be driving a royal blue, four-door sedan.
