West Nile Case Confirmed In El Paso County

EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - A new case of West Nile virus in Colorado sent someone to the hospital.

Health officials in El Paso County confirmed it on Friday. It's the county's first case of the year.

Officials say the previously healthy adult started showing symptoms late last month.

It's the 34th case of West Nile in Colorado this year. It's claimed two lives.
