Roach Fire In Northern Colorado Now 50 Percent Contained
RED FEATHER LAKES, Colo. (AP) - Firefighters are making progress against a wildfire burning in Colorado's Roosevelt National Forest near the Wyoming border.
The Roach Fire is 50 percent and crews are working to build more containment lines on Thursday.
It's now estimated to be burning on 150 acres, 100 acres less than originally thought, due to better mapping
The fire is about 3 miles south of the Wyoming line and isn't threatening any houses.
The fire was reported Monday and the cause is under investigation.
