2 Women Under Arrest After Double Shooting In Logan County

STERLING, Colo. (CBS4) - Two women are under arrest after a double shooting in northeast Colorado.

Leticia Hernandez of Greeley and Monica Pena of Evans are facing charges that include conspiracy and attempted homicide.

The shooting happened over the weekend at a gas station in Atwood, which is just southwest of Sterling. Logan County is bringing in help to investigate the crime.

The Logan County Sherriff's Office as well as the Colorado Bureau of Investigation are trying to piece together the clues to try and figure out what left two men shot at the Sinclair station early Sunday morning.

According to the Logan County Sheriff's Office, they received a 911 call around 12:30 a.m. Sunday with a caller saying there were gunshots fired at the Sinclair station. On their arrival they found two males with multiple gunshot wounds. They were listed as "code red," which means they had serious live-threatening injuries.

The two male victims have been identified as Jared Sanchez and Eric Morales. The condition of the two is unknown.
