Romney Backers Rebut President Obama

GREELEY, Colo. (AP) — Mitt Romney's supporters are on a Front Range bus tour to try to steal the spotlight from President Obama's visit to Colorado.

The tour includes Ohio Sen. Rob Portman, former Colorado congressman Bob Beauprez and current congressman Cory Gardner. It started in Greeley Wednesday morning. The tour also swings by Denver — where President Obama is scheduled to address the economy and women's issues — and wraps up in Pueblo, where the president will be speaking Thursday morning.

Utah congressman Jason Chaffetz and state Sen. Steve King will also lead a rally in Grand Junction on Wednesday.

Romney addressed a crowd in Golden last week and is spending the day in Iowa and the Northeast.
