DENVER (CBS4) – Monday is a perfect day to head to a state park. Part of the reason is it won’t cost a penny.
Colorado Day is Monday, and to celebrate Colorado Parks and Wildlife is offering free admission to all 42 state parks across Colorado.
Visitors will have to pay for camping.
Some of the most popular state parks near the metro area are Chatfield State Park and Cherry Creek State Park.
