Work Set To Begin To Bring Relief On The Boulder Turnpike

DENVER (CBS4) – Work is slated to begin soon to bring relief to drivers on Highway 36.

The Colorado Department of Transportation is starting a three-year project to widen the Boulder Turnpike between Federal Boulevard and Table Mesa.

Workers will add a 17-mile express lane that will be free to buses and carpools. Solo drivers will be able to pay a toll to use the lane.
