Colorado Springs Police Officer Dies After Crash
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - A Colorado Springs police officer has died after his motorcycle collided with a vehicle.
Police say Matthew Tyner was conducting traffic enforcement at the time of the crash Tuesday afternoon. Other circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
Tyner joined the Colorado Springs Police Department in 1999 and served as a patrol officer, neighborhood resource officer and training academy instructor before becoming part of the motorcycle unit.
