AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - Following the shooting of dozens of people in a movie theater in Aurora, there are several ways authorities are suggesting people can help out.
Anyone with tips on the police investigation is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP (7867).

GivingFirst.org Highlights Nonprofits Supporting Victims and Families: GivingFirst.org, Community First Foundation's online giving resource for Colorado, is helping Coloradans find local organizations that are dedicated to the victims and families of the horrific July 20 shooting in an Aurora, Colorado movie theater. Nonprofits featured on GivingFirst.org that are supporting the victims and their families include Aurora Mental Health Center, Arapahoe/Douglas Mental Health Network, Mental Health America of Colorado, Bonfils Blood Center Foundation, Metro Crisis Services, Inc., Colorado Organization for Victim Assistance, and Denver Center for Crime Victims.
Bonfils Blood Center: Bonfils is encouraging community members who want to donate blood to call to schedule an appointment or find a donor center/mobile drive nearest you. They are in need of O-, A- and platelet donations and ask that donors with those blood types please consider donating. Bonfils is also experiencing a high volume of calls and website traffic at this time and they ask for your cooperation and patience as you try to schedule an appointment.
