Motorcyclist Dies Trying To Flee Troopers

PUEBLO, Colo. (AP) - A motorcyclist has been killed while trying to flee Colorado State Patrol troopers near Pueblo.

Spokesman Nate Reid says the chase began Tuesday morning when a patrol plane reported a speeding motorcycle on Interstate 25.

Reid says the motorcyclist failed to yield to troopers on the ground on northbound I-25. He then crossed into southbound lanes and drove south on the interstate, exited and wove through several side streets in Pueblo West before hitting a dump truck.
