DENVER (CBS4)- Hot, dry temperatures combined with windy conditions add up to a Red Flag Warning that’s in effect for much of Colorado from noon Friday until Saturday evening.
The soaring temperatures also bring health warnings.
“Stay hydrated, wear loose clothing in lighter colors and try to stay indoors,” said American Red Cross spokesman Matt Reeves. “Pets are tough. Make sure they have water and a shady, cool place if they are outside. If possible, keep them inside during the hottest parts of the day.”
