Woman Who Bit Strangers In Neck Sentenced

DENVER (CBS4)- A woman accused of assaulting two people by biting them in the neck has been sentenced.

Emi Coleman pleaded guilty earlier to third-degree assault in connection with an incident that took place on Nov. 7, 2011 at a convenience store near 47th Avenue and Tower Road.

Coleman, 30, entered the store and groped a male customer before biting a man on the neck and then biting a female store clerk on the neck.

Coleman was sentenced to one year of supervised probation that includes serving 30 days in the Denver County Jail, another 60 days of in-home detention, drug and alcohol treatment, mental health treatment and anger management treatment.
