Stolen Rental Car Tracked Down By GPS
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — A Colorado Springs car rental company has its stolen car back because police knew just where to find it.
Police say the vehicle and suspect were tracked down Thursday using the vehicle's GPS system.
Police say 32-year-old Candida Latch is accused of taking the car from Zippy Rent-A-Car after grabbing the car keys. Employees called 911 and gave police a running account of where their car was going.
