COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) – Colorado Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki is starting a rehabilitation assignment with the Colorado Springs Sky Sox.

The Rockies said the All-Star will play against the Triple-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks, the Reno Aces, on Wednesday afternoon in Colorado Springs.

Tulowitzki has been on the disabled list since May 31 because of a strained left groin.

It will be his third appearance with the Sky Sox.
