LOVELAND, Colo. (AP) – Google isn’t the only company trying to help Colorado businesses get online. Facebook is too.
Last month, in an effort to encourage more Colorado firms to launch websites, Google Inc. said it was partnering with Intuit Inc. to offer a free domain name, tools to build a website and web-hosting services for one year to Colorado businesses.
On Thursday in Loveland, U.S. Rep. Cory Gardner and the Greeley Chamber of Commerce are hosting a Facebook representative who will discuss how businesses can use the social media site to grow.
Facebook and Google both have revenues that come from online advertising.
