Douglas County Teachers Signing Individual Contracts

CASTLE ROCK, Colo. (CBS4)– Teachers in Douglas County have started signing individual contracts with the district after talks between the union and administration stalled.

About 2,200 of nearly 3,000 teachers have signed deals. The remaining 800 have until Friday.

Remaining issues in negotiations include salary, pay for performance and removing the union as the bargaining unit for teachers.
