Crackdown On Bike Thefts Nets 3 Suspects In Boulder
BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - A crackdown on bike thefts has netted three arrests in Boulder.
Police arrested three University of Colorado students last week after police found Thomas Langsfeld, Daniel Pittenger and Claire Tabolt near bike racks with bolt cutters.
Bike theft is one of the most frequent crimes on college campuses, but CU has seen a 58 percent drop from 2010 to 2011 because of the arrests of repeat thieves and patrol officer enforcement.
