Denver-Based DaVita To Buy Health Care Partners

DENVER (CBS4) - A Denver-based dialysis provider is buying a network of doctors.

DaVita is based in Denver and will pay more than $3.5 billion and $758 million worth of stock for Health Care Partners.

DaVita operates or administers almost 2,000 dialysis facilities around the nation. Health Care Partners has medical groups in California, Nevada and Florida.
