Wheat Ridge Police Search For Vehicle Break-In Suspects
WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Wheat Ridge are on the lookout for several people seen scoping out cars at the Wheat Ridge Recreation Center.
On Saturday a woman spotted several suspicious people who appeared to be trying to break into her car and other vehicles. She went over with a group of people to confront them at a nearby trail and a scuffle broke out.
The woman was hurt and went to the hospital with minor scrapes.
Police say the suspects drove off in an SUV. It's not known if they stole anything from the cars at the rec center.
