Tryouts To Be Held For New Firefighters Calendar

DENVER (CBS4) - A different organization launched a new firefighters calendar and promises the money raised will help young burn victims.

A 4 On Your Side investigation revealed a criminal probe into the calendar's founder. CBS4 found the founder's accounts were co-mingled and money intended for burn victims may have gone for personal use.

The calendar is a yearly fundraiser for The Children's Hospital burn center. A new group is managing it now and it's having firefighter tryouts for the calendar Friday in Denver.

CBS4's Gloria Neal will be among the judges selecting the winners. She's very much looking forward to the assignment.
