Thousands Attend ‘Furry Scurry’ In Washington Park

DENVER (CBS4) – It was a great day on Saturday for people and their pets at Washington Park as the Dumb Friends League held its 19th annual Furry Scurry.

About 12,000 people and 5,000 pets strolled around the park. The Furry Scurry is the largest walk for animals in the nation.

Money raised goes to help out homeless pets across the state. Organizers were hoping to raise $1 million during the event.
