Castle Rock Police Once Again Warn About Burglaries

CASTLE ROCK, Colo. (CBS4) – Police in Castle Rock are once again warning residents to lock their doors and keep their eyes open.

CBS4 has previously reported on burglaries happening in Castle Rock where crooks break through doors, open the garage and drive out with possessions.

The thieves have hit Douglas County five more times last week. The neighborhoods that were hit included The Meadows, Crystal Valley Ranch and Plum Creek.

Thirty homes have been burglarized since last fall.

Officers say one homeowner followed the suspects in one burglary, but so far police have made no arrests.
