COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) – A knife-wielding thief who tried to rob a man who claimed he had no cash took the man’s car instead.

Colorado Springs police say the motorist was sitting in his car listening to music when the thief came up and demanded money.

The victim denied having any cash, so the thief ordered him to get out of his car and drove away.

Police say the victim was not injured and they recovered the car about five blocks away.
