Skeletal Remains Found In Colorado Springs
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - Authorities are investigating after a group of volunteers who were cleaning up trash in Colorado Springs found what appear to be human skeletal remains.
Police say the city's utilities department was coordinating a trash cleanup Saturday morning when the remains were found in the northwestern part of the city.
Police are now interviewing residents and the coroner is trying to determine how long the bones have been there.
Police aren't sure if the remains belong to a transient or a homicide victim.
