Aurora Police To Hold Another Child Seat Safety Checkup Event
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)- Aurora police have invited the public to take advantage of a free child seat checkup event.
Parents and caregivers are urged to have their children's car seats checked. The event will take place at the Cornerstar Power Center located at East Arapahoe Road and South Parker Road. It will run this Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Crashes are the leading cause of death for children from 3 to 14 years old.
Those who are unable to attend the event can make an appointment with Aurora police at a later date to have child car seats inspected by calling (303) 739-6423.
