Great Skiing For A Great Cause At Winter Park
WINTER PARK, Colo. (CBS4) - It was a great weekend of skiing at Winter Park for a great cause.
The 37th annual Wells Fargo Cup took place over the weekend. The event is a fundraiser for the National Sports Center for the Disabled.
Sarah Holmes lost the use of her legs in an accident, but that hasn't slowed her down one bit.
"A lot of people look at us and they feel bad for us. We look at it a different way. We want to show people that we can do everything they can do, just in a different way," Holmes said. "They just have so many programs here through NSCD that help kids show other people that you can do stuff."
Athletes say they like to focus on what they can do, instead of what they can't.
