Health Department Hopes To Reopen Friday After Spill
DURANGO, Colo. (AP) -- The San Juan Basin Health Department building in Durango is tentatively set to reopen Friday following cleanup of a mercury spill.
The health department says about 100 people had to leave the building when the spill occurred Tuesday. It has been closed to the public since then.
The department says it hopes to reopen Friday morning, pending one final test following the cleanup.
