La Plata County Deputy Dies While Snowboarding
DURANGO, Colo. (AP) -- La Plata County sheriff's deputies are mourning the death of a colleague who perished while snowmobiling on his day off.
Authorities say 57-year-old Hollis Holland was traveling southeast of the summit of Molas Pass on Wednesday when he died.
His body was found after he failed to return home. No cause of death was released.
