Bankruptcy Filings In Colorado Drop

DENVER (CBS4) - Bankruptcy filings in Colorado are down for the first time in five years.

The U.S. bankruptcy court reported about 30,000 cases last year for both businesses and consumers in the state.

That's down about 2,000 from the year before.

The bankruptcy decline is the first that has been seen since 2006.
