DENVER (CBS4) – The Boys & Girls Club of Metro Denver celebrated a generous donation on Friday.

Sam’s Club donated $35,000 to the organization. The retailer says they are inspired by the club’s ability to help underprivileged children be all they can be.

“We are just thrilled and delighted and I promise you we will spend your money wisely to help our kids reach their full potential,” a Boys & Girls Club official said at the celebration.

More than 12,000 children attend one of the metro area’s 16 clubs.
