Proctor Of Colorado Peace Officer Exams Indicted
DENVER (AP) -- A Denver grand jury has indicted a woman accused of mishandling her duties as a proctor for Colorado Peace Officer Standards and Training exams.
Fifty-five-year-old Julie Carleen Johnson-Garcia is charged with attempting to influence a public servant and tampering with a witness.
She was charged after the Colorado Attorney General's Office started investigating how two men were allowed to take the exams at home and how a copy of the exam was circulated among a small number of cadets. Johnson-Garcia is accused of lying during that investigation and persuading two others to lie too.
