Woman Tries To Help Burglars Rather Than Seek Revenge

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - She's had her car broken into three times, but instead of seeking revenge, a Colorado Springs woman is looking to help the thieves.

Christine Sharp is one of many victims in a string of car break-ins. After the last one she left a note for the thieves saying they can take whatever they want -- she just doesn't want her car damaged anymore.

"I put a note on my car saying, 'Next time you want something from my car please knock on my door because it would have been much nicer,' " Sharp said.

Sharp says she wants to help the suspects because they are probably troubled. She does not want them to serve any jail time.
