Horse Expected To Recover After Nasty Accident Near Loveland
LOVELAND, Colo. (CBS4) - A horse is expected to fully recover after a nasty accident near Loveland Saturday afternoon.
"Duke" the horse was riding in a trailer that got loose and started rolling down Highway 34 in the Big Thompson Canyon. A car crashed into the trailer and Duke was trapped in the wreckage.
Loveland firefighters had to cut open the trailer to get Duke out.
Duke's owner said he uses the horse for jousting events.
