DENVER (CBS4) – Denver police say an autopsy will be performed on the woman who was shot and killed while driving last Friday.

Andrea Roan was shot in the head near 12th and Clayton in Denver early in the morning.

Police arrested Ryan Miller for the murder a short time later. Miller was also arrested earlier this month for domestic violence involving Roan.

The victim was a fifth grade teacher at Alsup Elementary School in Commerce City.

Friends and neighbors put up a makeshift memorial at the crime scene over the weekend.

The memorial includes candles, flowers, pictures and cards — some with messages from students saying how much they will miss her.
