Crews Rescue Man Hurt In A Trench

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)- Aurora's technical rescue team was called into action on Friday to help a man who was hurt while working in a trench two stories deep.

It happened at about 11:20 a.m. Friday south of the Colfax and Sable intersection east of Interstate 225.

A construction worker was struck by a big clump of dirt and needed help getting out of the trench.

Rescue teams were able to get the man out with ropes and a stretcher. He wasn't seriously hurt but taken to the hospital to get checked out.
