LARKSPUR, Colo. (CBS4) – A number of donations have come in for an equine therapy program in Larkspur this week following CBS4’s 12 Days of Christmas report about it.

FULL STORY: Youth Center Abandoning Equine Therapy For Troubled Girls

For the 12 days leading up to Christmas, CBS4 is featuring charitable foundations and organizations with its reports. Tuesday’s report at 10 p.m. about the Excelsior Youth Center and financial troubles they have run into spurred many to donate funds.

The group has now received enough donations to keep the therapy going for several months into 2012. That includes one single $10,000 commitment.

Excelsior Youth Center makes a huge difference for girls who have been the victims of some of the worst society can offer.

For information on how to help, visit the Excelsior website. Also visit the Horseback Miracles website for more information on equine therapy.
