FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) - The city of Fort Collins is considering providing late-night transportation for people who have been drinking.

The "Safe Ride Home" program would be open to anybody looking for a ride on weekends from 11:30 p.m. until 2:30 a.m.

The buses would run from downtown to residential areas with a large student population. The fare would be $1.

Funding to run the buses would come from the fares, along with police department funds and student fees.
