Police Arrest Brother Of Alleged Trinidad Intruder

TRINIDAD, Colo. (AP) - One of the men believed to have been with an alleged intruder who was killed by a resident of a home in Trinidad has been found in Denver.

Trinidad police say the resident of a home in Trinidad was awoken Saturday by the sound of a knock at the front door and the door being forced open. Police say the resident shot Rory David Rodriguez, who later died.

Investigators said they believed Rodriguez was with his 21-year-old brother, Alejandro Rodriguez, 21-year-old Mario Dean Chavez at the time of the shooting.

Trinidad police say Denver officers arrested Alejandro Rodriguez on Monday at a hospital where he was being treated for a gunshot wound to the abdomen from an unrelated shooting in Denver.

Police were still looking for Chavez on Monday.
