DENVER (CBS4) – There will more red bikes around Denver this spring as the B-cycle program is growing.

B-cycle just received two major grants worth more than $1 million. The money will be used to buy another 175 bikes at 35 new stations.

The program is expanding to neighborhoods adjacent to downtown. Those new locations include along Colfax and Union Station.

The new B-cycle stations will start rolling out in March.

I wish they would have expanded this article a bit so I could understand what this program is for? Who uses these bikes, what do they cost?

I want to know what entity provided this grant. I assume it is another government grant, meaning more redistribution of wealth.
