Colorado To Stop Mailing Tax Booklets To Taxpayers

DENVER (CBS4)- Colorado will no longer mail tax booklets to taxpayers. The move comes now that so many people file their taxes electronically.

Tax experts said filing online reduces the chance of errors and processing delays.

Taxpayers can still file the old fashioned way: on a paper return and then mailing it to the Internal Revenue Service.

The forms can be copied at libraries or downloaded from the Colorado Department of Revenue website.
