Written by Brian Maass DENVER (CBS4) – A jury in California has convicted Harvey Morrow, 60, of first-degree murder and murder for financial gain in the 2006 killing of former Denver disc jockey Steven B. Williams.

Morrow will be sentenced Dec. 16 in Long Beach Superior Court, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.

“The jury also found true the allegation that the defendant personally used a handgun to kill victim Steven Williams,” said Sandi Gibbons, Director of Communications for the District Attorney’s Office.

Morrow was accused of shooting Williams in the head, then dumping Williams’ body in the Pacific Ocean five years ago following a dispute over money.

Morrow is not facing the death penalty but will face life in prison without the possibility of parole. Morrow has been held without bail since he was captured in Montana in 2006.
