DENVER (AP) – The Colorado State Patrol has released its annual list of the state’s most dangerous roads.
The list compiled from last year’s reports lists C-470 along the Front Range as No. 1, where 88 people were injured or killed. Second on the list is Interstate 25 from Johnstown to Fort Collins, where 39 people were injured or killed.
State Trooper Heather Cobler said heavy traffic and high speeds are contributing factors in most of the accidents.
