Bear Roams Pueblo Streets

PUEBLO, Colo. (CBS4) - A bear was spotted roaming around Pueblo early Friday morning.

The bear quickly climbed up a large tree and stayed there all day long. Firefighters tried to use a ladder truck to scare the bear out but it didn't work. They decided to wait it out with a bear trap and tranquilizer darts on hand.

Bears are common in southern Colorado, but never that far inside the Pueblo city limits.
