University Of Colorado Building Closes For Repairs
BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - Reports of smoke and noxious fumes have prompted officials to evacuate an administrative building at the University of Colorado.
University officials said they believe the smoke Monday afternoon at the Regent Administrative Center was caused by glycol from an air conditioning unit leaking onto electrical wiring.
The center was closed Monday so crews could make repairs. The university said all walk-up and call-in services for the admissions office, bursar's office, the office of financial aid, and all other services in the center were closed. University officials haven't said when the building will reopen.
No injuries were reported.
