Boatright Named To Colorado Supreme Court
DENVER (AP) - Gov. John Hickenlooper has picked Brian Boatright to join the Colorado Supreme Court.
Hickenlooper announced his decision Thursday.
Boatright lives in Arvada and is a judge in the 1st Judicial District, which covers Jefferson and Gilpin counties.
The Supreme Court Nominating Commission picked three candidates to fill a vacancy created by the retirement of Justice Alex Martinez.
The other nominees were Frederick Martinez of Castle Pines and Patrick O'Rourke of Highlands Ranch.
