CENTENNIAL, Colo. (AP) — The Colorado National Guard says the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and Explosives has arrested two members on firearms charges.
ATF spokesman Bradley Beyersdorf told The Denver Post he couldn’t release details of the arrests Tuesday of Staff Sgt. Eric Lee and Spc. Matthew Laflin because an investigation is ongoing.
The Colorado National Guard says Lee and Laflin are both traditional, part-time National Guard members from B Company, 1st Battalion, 157th Infantry Regiment, based in Fort Lupton.
Lee was active duty Army from May 2004 to August 2009, when he joined the Colorado Army National Guard.
Laflin enlisted into the Colorado Army National Guard in 2006.
