Plastic Bottle In Bathroom Delays Frontier Flight

DENVER (AP) - A man who walked out of an airplane lavatory without a water bottle he walked in with caused a two-hour delay of an Indianapolis to Denver flight.

Frontier spokesman Peter Kowalchuk said passengers noticed the man enter the bathroom with a plastic bottle full of a clear liquid. Kowalchuk says passengers reported the man did not have the bottle when he left the lavatory 25 minutes later.

Police investigated and allowed Flight 609 to depart Indianapolis for Denver Friday two hours after its scheduled departure time of 8 p.m. ET. The station reported an empty bottle was found in the lavatory trash receptacle.
