Attorney Says No Deal In Larimer County GOP Theft Case

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) - An attorney for the former head of the Larimer County Republican Party says the district attorney has offered no deal in the theft case against his client.

Defense attorney Richard Radabaugh told Judge Devin Odell on Monday that the case against Larry Carillo is heading toward trial on charges that he stole $17,000 in party money to gamble and support himself.

The Fort Collins Coloradoan reports that Odell ordered Carillo and his attorney to return to court on Dec. 5 to schedule further proceedings after reviewing about 1,700 pages of records.
